Keep Orange Correctional Center open

Today, the appropriations subcommittee on justice and public safety (NC House of Representatives) proposed their budget, which includes funds for OCC. This is cause to be hopeful. Thank you to the many people who have contacted their representatives on behalf of OCC. And thank you to our own (Alamance, Orange, and Durham) representatives as well as the DPS higher-ups who advocated for us.
Still, please consider signing the petition below, in case it helps for “conferencing” the house and senate budgets.
